Candice Paulsen is an outgoing and passionate individual who has been working in the dance and fitness industry for​11 years. As a child, Candice trained and competed in the areas of Jazz, Tap, Acro, Ballet, Contemporary, Musical Theatre and Hip Hop in and around North America. As a teenager, Candice continued her training at Wexford C.I. where she was a member of the Performing Arts Program. Here she participated as a lead dancer in various shows including Anne of Green Gables, Music Man, Kiss Me Kate, and Godspell. Candice also participated in the Wexford Summer Performing Arts Program where she had the opportunity to sing, dance, and act as lead roles including; Hilary in Fame, Rosie in Bye Bye Birdie, and Cha Cha in Grease. ​Throughout her years in the industry, ​Candice has been a lead presenter in various Charity ​​events and performances throughout the GTA including Floor on Fire, Yoga In Motion, Play in the Parks, and School Dance-a-Thons​. She has also had the opportunity to learn from and dance with incredible minds including; Madonna​, Twitch, Ray Leeper, Tawaana Hall, and Al Blackstone. Many of her classes have become legendary thanks to her athleticism, enthusiasm, and challenging routines.
With a honours degree in Kinesiology and Psychology, a Bachelor of Education, Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor​ certification​, hands on experience as an ​elite ​volleyball player and stage performer, and certifications with the BATD, Candice brings a tremendous amount of knowledge about movement and how the body works and functions​ into her classes​.
Candice is happy to be back at the studio for a fourth year and looks forward to sharing her passion ​for movement and​ dance with her participants. So if you're up for the challenge, ready to sweat, and you would like to spice up your dance moves, come check her classes out!
